LAIV Crescendo VERSE

The LAiV Crescendo VERSE is a high-end, all-in-one audio solution combining a discrete R-2R DAC, a discrete buffered output preamplifier, and a discrete headphone amplifier in a single compact and versatile device. It is based on LAiV's proprietary R-2R architecture, designed to deliver natural tonal reproduction and detailed precision, as well as native 1-bit DSD support. The Crescendo VERSE supports high-resolution sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD256.

The R-2R conversion architecture uses a ladder network of precision resistors to convert digital signals to analogue, providing a more natural and musical sound than conventional delta-sigma DAC chips. The discrete buffered preamplifier output ensures low output impedance and high current delivery to downstream amplifiers. The headphone amplifier section is equally discrete, providing sufficient power and control for a wide range of headphones.
