With insights garnered from our flagship Statement BDC, we have improved the Elite BDC design with increased capacitance and improved layout scheme with our proprietary Star+Ground plane design. The Elite BDC MKII has an even lower noise floor, better dynamics and more body when compared to the original.

Our ground-up approach begins with a balanced AC power design, along with a two-stage voltage regulation consisting of an open loop first-stage pre-regulator and a close-loop feedback second stage. Our unique balanced AC power circuit effectively removes ground loop noise and reduces the diode noise. The first stage pre-regulation filters the bulk of the noise, specifically the high-frequency noise, and the heat from the second stage voltage regulator. The 2 stage regulation design acts as a "gate" to prevent the downstream noise from crossing back to the AC mains power to pollute other equipment.

All PLiXiR products are handcrafted in Singapore. Ultra rigid 1 piece aluminum body (min 5mm thick) construction with 5mm bottom plate and 3mm top cover provides the best vibration isolation possible. The casing doubles as the heat sink for the power supply.
